Which contact information will I be asked to provide?                                                                                                                                                           

You will be asked to provide your title (Mr/Ms/Dr/Prof etc.), your first name, last name, email, phone number, organisation name, sector, seniority level, job title, address (street, postal code, city, state/province, country), gender and age.

 

What does my registration include?    

  • Full Congress registration will give you access to the full Congress programme, opening and closing ceremonies, welcome reception, all open content sessions, and and the exhibition hall. Lunch and coffee breaks are provided on all days this registration allows access to the Welcome Reception on Monday 22nd April 2024.
  • Exhibition visitor registration gives access to the exhibition halls and the Welcome Reception on Monday 22nd April 2024. There will be significant opportunities to network and meet throughout the exhibition days plus attend all activities scheduled to take place throughout the Exhibition. You can choose to visit for 1 day for €100 or all 4 exhibition days for €250. It does not give access to the Congress programme or lunch.

* World Energy Council Members receive access to member meetings.

 

What are the registration rates?

* These registration rates include the 21% Dutch VAT.

 

There is also a discounted Full Congress registration rate – please get in touch with your local Member Committee to receive the exclusive member registration code.

Please note that if you are travelling with your significant other/partner, you can choose to purchase a registration for this person as well for an additional fee of € 100.00. They will be able to attend the opening and closing ceremonies of the Congress, and the registration team can provide information on tours and other programmes that they can book during your stay in Rotterdam. Please contact the registration team for more information.

 

Can I register as media?

The World Energy Congress welcomes working media and digital content creators covering energy across any vertical. You must provide credentials to be submitted for review; please find more information here. The World Energy Congress will not accept credentials that do not associate you with the company you are representing. The World Energy Congress reserves the right to request additional business credentials if necessary.

 

How can I register a group?

For a group of <10 people, we encourage you to use the individual registration page and process separate registrations. For a group of 10 people and more, please contact registration@worldenergycongress.org for further information and assistance.

Special group deal: when registering 15 participants for the full Congress as a group, you will receive one additional full Congress registration complimentary.

 

Will I receive a visa invitation letter?

Please check whether you need a visa to enter the Netherlands on the website of the Dutch Government. If you do need a visa, please apply as early as possible.

During the registration, you will be given an option to apply for a visa invitation letter. To have the letter issued, you will be asked to provide the following details: first name and last name (as mentioned on passport), date of birth, passport number, passport issue date and passport expiry date, as well as country of origin.

Please note: the visa invitation letter will be issued automatically and included in your registration confirmation, which you receive as soon as the payment has been processed. The registration team cannot issue any visa invitation letters until the registration has been paid and confirmed, and the Organisers will not be able to contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office on your behalf.

 

How do I pay for the Congress?

The following payment methods are accepted:

Credit card: This online registration platform is a secure site. Visa, Eurocard/MasterCard and American Express are the only credit cards accepted. After you complete your registration, a receipt/invoice confirmation will be emailed to you automatically.

Bank transfer: Upon completion of the online registration process, you will receive an unpaid invoice for your registration fees by email. This invoice includes all payment instructions as well as your registration number to mention as reference of the payment. Your payment must be received within 10 days. Upon receipt of your payment, your registration will be confirmed to you by email. Please note that the option to pay by bank transfer will only be available until 1 April 2024.

You can also process your registration payment onsite, by credit card or cash. Please note that the Registration Team will only accept cash payments in EUR, as the official payment currency of the Netherlands.

 

Can my partner and children join me at the Congress?

Only those age 18 and older are able to enter session rooms, receptions, exhibition hall or any other general Congress areas. Please keep these age requirements in mind when planning your trip.

They will be able to attend the opening and closing ceremonies of the Congress; the registration team can provide information on tours and other programmes that they can book during your stay in Rotterdam. Can I cancel my registration?

Please kindly note that the registration is non-refundable.

Name changes are permitted, free of charge up until 22nd March 2024. For each name change you must notify the Congress Organiser by e-mail to registration@worldenergycongress.org. From 23rd March to 1st April, name changes are permitted, but an administrative fee of € 25 will be charged.
