FAQs

The World Energy Congress programme champions diverse, inclusive and intergenerational voices, with over 350 speakers and facilitators drawn from a global community of visionaries including Ministers, CEOs, innovators, and young energy leaders.

Speakers at World Energy Congress contribute to a global dialogue shaping the future of energy. The programme brings together diverse leaders from across sectors, regions and generations to exchange practical insight and experience. Sessions are designed as curated discussions rather than individual presentations, encouraging meaningful exchange and shared learning.

World Energy Congress speakers are selected by the World Energy Council in collaboration with the host country and programme advisors. Selection aims to ensure diversity of geography, sector and expertise, in line with the Congress theme and programme pillars.

Speakers are invited to actively engage in discussion-based sessions, contribute practical insights, and participate in open, forward-looking dialogue that connects ambition with real-world action.

Speakers are not paid. As a registered not-for-profit organisation, the World Energy Council does not cover travel or accommodation expenses unless otherwise stated in the formal invitation.

The programme is primarily curated. However, expressions of interest aligned with the Congress theme and pillars may be directed to the programme team at programme@worldenergy.org.
